INTERNAL HRWE OPENED THE BIDFOR A ONE-DAY WEEK
Tenfold productivity. One day will suffice.
Internal HR is recruiting IT and AI vendors who can deliver a one-day work week. Productivity will rise tenfold; one day of labour will be enough. The one-day system begins on January 1, 2027. Until then, this desk will choose the vendor that can actually hit the target.

How The Pitch LandedIt began when 100x, an enterprise HR-management vendor, sent Carlos to Floor 4. Their stack was ChatGPT Astra for intake, routing, and the reply nobody wants to write, and Claude Fable for policy drafts, review cycles, and the weekly status that eats a Thursday.
Adopt either, Carlos said, and every employee’s productivity would climb
so sharply that the hours saved would be astronomical. Tenfold was only the opening slide.
Jim—writing this—and Mia looked at each other in surprise, then in joy. AI progress had, at last, made a world in which one need not work.
How We Proved ItWe floated the one-day week the month before last. Leadership looked as if cold water had been poured in their ears—then fury. On a floor already drowning in work and customer demand, a one-day week was, they said, out of the question.

Internal HR sat them in the glass room with the blinds down. We played interview footage of Dario Amodei, Sam Altman, and Elon Musk on the evolution of AI, then opened 100x’s own binders—tenfold on the cover, 100X on three inside pages. Finance stopped mid-objection. Legal closed the laptop. The COO asked only whether the licence was annual. The proof was complete.
What Nobody Would Say AloudThat same stretch, we ran an anonymous survey on labour. Q1: Do you think the company can run on a one-day week? (1 strongly disagree — 5 strongly agree). Q2: Is a 110% wage rise with a one-day week a good thing? (same scale). Means: Q1 4.877, Q2 4.999. We had expected something near three. You had been hiding what you meant.
What Happens On Day OneThe system takes effect on January 1, 2027. Design and implementation also begin on January 1, 2027. Before that date this desk will select the vendor that can truly deliver the one-day week. The bar is plain: a live demo on one real department queue, a written claim of at least tenfold time saved, and a plan for hearings that cost each employee no more than one hour a week. Packets that cannot clear those three do not reach the shortlist.
From January 1 onward, the chosen vendor will schedule hearings with each department, with every care for your calendar. Answer once a week, if you would be so kind. Delegating every answer to AI is permitted.
Filed for the record
Vendor packets may be sent to Floor 4. We expect tenfold claims. We will read them.
This is the sixth issue. It is numbered five. Apply if one day is enough for you too.
