INTERNAL HRDistribution of the app begins

A Director Suspected Of Harassment Has Been PunishedA director in sales wrote on a Friday. His name is Kuman. He said a remote subordinate, Alex, was not arriving at work. He suspected a bot that opened the day at nine, every morning, without fail. He asked Internal HR to look into the subordinate.
There was something to look into about Alex. Under company rule 32 on employee surveillance, however, this was a serious case of rights violation and harassment, so we punished Director Kuman first. He has been demoted one grade and his pay reduced.
It is hard to believe this is the same person who read and accepted the work rules three years ago. The common sense of otiose corp. is uncommon sense outside it. He had seen companies where watching employees is ordinary, and he thought it would work here.
Not Working Now Counts As WorkOn the following Monday we interviewed Alex directly. He had written an attendance client with Claude Code. At nine it clocks him in on the attendance system, by itself. It runs on the intranet without exception.
Alex also appears to be using a commercial mouse jiggler. His eight-hour day is, in fact, fifteen minutes. This is proof, of the highest order, that he is working efficiently.
For this improvement the desk granted him two months of salary as a special bonus.
Internal HR Supports Not WorkingBecause of what Alex did, any employee of this company may now use the program. Download it from the shared folder, put it on the machine, and start it. You will not have to think about the nuisance of arriving at work again.
Kuman has asked whether he may use it. He may. Everyone may. He made a mistake and took a pay cut for it. The right to slack off is a right of every employee of otiose corp.

The program is on the shared folder. This desk will not be maintaining it.
This is the second issue. It is numbered one. The numbering was reviewed and left as it is.
